I always wonder about people's reactions to the recasting of the Doctor from Hartnell to Troughton, and how they all felt about the concept of regeneration - or as it was referred to as back then, "Renewal".

There wasn't a great deal of fuss then. Not much publicity announcing the new Doctor.
